Reviews:
FLIPSIDE #117
I'm convinced that these guys are Paul Weller's illegitimate children. They gotta be. The best way to describe them is The Jam and Elvis Costello covering The Wonders. Easily the pick of the litter this time around. Really impressive.
WAXFACE #3 (ENGLAND)
This was really a breath of fresh air for me, not my regular (or yours, I doubt) kind of punk rock but absolutely cracking! Clash/'60s styled punk rock with cool as fuck tunes, plenty of stolen riffs (The Passenger being the most obvious song they have ripped off) that make these songs instantly enjoyable. Most of you fucks probably never heard of Acme Records or this band before so I doubt you will bother to check this out, but hey, if they get into Fracture remember you heard it here first. You are all missing a gem of a record (not very original but still). Rock and roll the way it should be.

...Acme, by the way, has just issued The Shods' astoundingly good Bamboozled album on vinyl, with one cut not available on the CD, "Don't Pick Up The Phone." And one listen begs the question we've been asking for years--when are these boys going to be signed to a fat record deal?
