WARM JETS

Track Listing:

She Says
MP3 Diabla

Reviews:

SUBURBAN VOICE #45
Tough rocknroll punk and the band has ex-Ramone CJ Ward on bass & vocals, along with Out Cold's Mark Sheehan on drums.   The 4 track recording gives it an edge and roughness to work in it's favor.   I'll give the nod to the catchy three-chord attack of 'Diabla'.  'She Says' in a more of a straight rock vein, isn't bad either.

UNDERGROUND PUNK SUPPORT (NETHERLANDS)
This is the new band of CJ Ramone. And if I look at the picture it seems that Mark from Out Cold is drumming. It has only 2 songs on this clear 45 RPM vinyl plate. Both are high quality PunkRawk songs that ROCK like hell! Especially first song 'She Says' is Punk Rock back to the very essence of the early to mid 70's. The song 'Diabla' is a bit faster and a bit more to the Ramones style, yet far from being a Ramones clone or influenced band (despite CJ's direct influence). The vocals have a slight distortion effect added, like bands like New Bomb Turks. The feeling alltogether is really great and I can highly recommend this for everyone who is into PunkRawk.

HIT LIST VOL. 2 NO. 6
Tough and mean sounding garage punk.  The kind that makes you feel like getting shit-faced, trying to pick up a girl and, if that failed, going on a shooting spree.  "She Says" is so riff-heavy and tuneless that it verges on stoner rock, but "Diabla" is an absolutely killer punk'n'roll blast with tunage and a drop-out bridge.

MASS MOVEMENT #9 (WALES)
Ah, C.J., they said Dee Dee could never be replaced and you proved them wrong.  Then my dream of a Ramones utopia was shattered when you all finally hung up yer guitars.  Fear not, though, because the illustrious C.J. supplies two new tracks on this here 7" (on clear vinyl as well, hubba hubba!!)   Two great slabs of Punk 'n' Roll with a definite old school (that's punk O.S.) sound that reminds me of The Heartbreakers, The Voidoids and even in places, Mudhoney (circa "Hate The Police").  My only problem with this is that you only get two tracks and are left wanting more.  An album please guys?

ARTCORE #15 (WALES)
This is the singer of Out Cold on drums, CJ Ramone on vocals/bass, and a guy called John on guitar.  This is down 'n' dirty rockin' punk, trashy and garagey, rough and ready.  Recorded on a four track and as snotty as sinusitis!  Two tracks of 60's garage-style Cramps-like evil rocknroll!
