Bad Chopper was formed by CJ Ward, Mark Sheehan, and
original guitarist John Chadwick in Long Island, NY, in June 2000. Originally called the
Warm Jets, they recorded and released one single (She Says b/w Diabla) under this name.
Brian Costanza was added on second guitar soon after. This line-up played the NY area
through 2000-2001 before changing their name to avoid confusion with a UK band named the
Warm Jets.
John Chadwick's inability to tour prompted his departure from the band. Mark Sheehan moved
over to second guitar and John Evicci was brought in to play drums on tours of South
America and Japan in 2001 and 2002.
The band then focused on recording its first full-length, but personal matters greatly
delayed the completion of the record until 2007. Now the group is focusing on promoting
the album and working on new material. Stay tuned!
